Graphic designer Phoebe Gazal’s Papier d’Amour in Sydney -- a first-stop shop for luxury stationery lovers and prop stylists Down Under -- has developed a cult following. The boutique was featured in a popular Australian monthly glossy called SHOP TIL YOU DROP in this two-page spread that highlights a few choice items she sells, including a cloth-covered Kolo Hudson 2-Up photo album and a Kolo Havana Box. And in the style section of The Daily Telegraph, Australia’s most widely circulated newspaper, the Kolo Havana Box in platinum is pictured to illustrate editor and columnist Melissa Hoyer’s quote: “Papier d’Amour sells sedate and vivid designs … Phoebe Gazal’s signature style combines simple shapes and surfaces with eye-catching colours...” A scan of that Daily Telegraph newsclip and more is at flickr. - Ugo |
