A clever party favor idea from our friend, Los Angeles photographer Jules Bianchi:
We have several friends (and their pets!) coming over in full costume tonight to carve pumpkins and play board games (and of course, eat lots of candy).
My plan is to use my Canon 5D to take photographs throughout the evening and then quickly print them up on my Epson printer. Once they are printed, I can slip them into the Kolo Matchbook photo albums to give as parting gifts. No one will have to wait to see the photos -- they'll get them in their souvenir albums that very evening.
Since the Kolo Matchbook photo album only holds ten 4x6 prints, it won't take long to do.
I dress Olive up in a different Halloween costume every year. This year she is going dressed up as a bat! Before the party, I already put a photograph of her in her bat costume in the front cover window of each album, and put a shot of her on the first page proudly displaying the pumpkins we carved earlier this week. By the time the party is over, the albums will be filled with photos of my friends and their pets in costume, too!
