Necessity is the mother of invention, and the necessity that spawned this invention by Patrick Ng was having to organize the deluge of information that he finds he must manage daily. Our friend Patrick revels in re-purposing objects to new and creative uses, focusing equally on both form and function. Shown here is his latest problem-solver, dubbed the mind.Depositor. To create it, he borrowed parts and bits and pieces of various stationery-related products and put them together in a new way to create this very cool-looking organizational system. Among the innovations here: a CIAK elastic band bookmark becomes the mechanism for holding index cards neatly in place; and the clear tabbed dividers that come in a medium Kolo Havana Box -- usually used to divide 4"x6" photographs -- are used instead to separate "Office Work" from "Personal" index cards. You can get the whole skinny on the mind.Depositor -- and learn to make one for yourself -- at Scription, Thoughts on Stationery and Beyond. Very cool, thank you, Patrick. Know we'll be hearing more about this one. - Ugo |

Steve, I will show it to you in person next time we meet, but it will probably be version 6 (current one is version 4).
Fhung, city'super not yet carrying the clips. I had some difficulty getting a reasonably priced sourcing. Somebody said levenger.com sells them.
