Here's a cool project that professional wedding and portrait photographer Jules Bianchi and her colleagues came up with to help keep that "photographer's eye" keen and trained. When I can actually see the end of wedding season in the not-too-far distance, I really want to start doing a few of my own projects again. Back in April a group of my photographer friends and I decided to give each other assignments... just to keep ourselves motivated and constantly finding new ways to see the world. The first assignment was "The Alphabet." Impressive dedication to the craft. But what amazes is that in the midst of a sensory overloading experience like a day at Disneyland, Jules got two little kids to focus on finding anything other than M-I-C-K-E-Y. On a side note, Jules is now starring in an online photography reality show, The Longest Day, which involves a contest between two teams of photographers. You can watch the episodes on her blog here. |
