Photographers Save More than Six Thousand Lives | |
|
Sunday 1st Feb 2009 |
Congratulations and many thanks to Jules Bianchi, her fellow photographers, the bidders and all others who participated this past weekend in the Mentor Auction to benefit Thirst Relief International. The total amount raised was $25,392.08. According to Thirst Relief, that will save 6,595 lives by helping to provide clean, safe drinking water to those in need. To boot, the young photographers who won the bidding will benefit professionally from 90-minute mentor sessions with more experienced photographers, including Jules, later this month at WPPI in Las Vegas. And among the several goodies Jules' future protege won is a certificate worth $200 to make his own custom Kolo photo album at www.MyKoloAlbum.com . Lucille summed it up best: "Go photographers!" |
