Photographer and Polanoid Jen Altman and her daughter, Adevah, love to be creative together. You might recall the pair of photo albums that they started making together as a Valentine's Day project. (See Jen's Kolo Hudson album here and Adevah's Kolo Riva album here.)

Jen recently put together this new spread in her Kolo Hudson album:

The vellum envelopes are from Action Envelope and can be purchased in multiple quantities.  I love vellum envelopes and use them in my own packaging -- I love that they give you a little sneak peek of what hides inside. I chose to use them in this project for that exact reason.

The two journals on the right correspond.  More often than not we each will write about our day... our favorite parts of the day, something funny that happened that day, etc. Sometimes Adie will bring up a subject on her own (a book she is loving for example) and we write about that.   We have also talked about writing stories but have yet to do so.

The booklets are Moleskines -- they are the small ones of kraft paper and I secured them to the album by using double-sided tape on both the page and the back of the book, creating a double seal of sorts. We have had no issues with them budging.
