It's becoming increasingly clear that our friend, photographer Kelli Taylor, is a chocolaholic. Well, maybe not addicted to the cocoa confection so much, but certainly to the color chocolate of Kolo's cloth-album color palette. We've already seen a couple of Kelli's album projects on Koloist, but this one is especially rich. It's easy to see why she's hooked on chocolate-- just look at how beautifully the color sets off the photographs in this gorgeous wedding album that she made: Friends of ours were married in England this past fall, so our gift to them was a wedding album and photo CD book. The album I used was a chocolate Kolo Newport 8.5 x 11 loaded with soft white cloth-hinged sheets, adorned with varying widths of brown paper strips. I included photos I took at their wedding; shots from the professional photographer; their wedding invitation, program, and readings (photoshopped onto mirror images of the church steeple); envelopes holding the best man's, groom's, and mother of the bride's speeches; and the bow from the top tier of their wedding cake. We also burned all of their wedding photos to CDs and presented them in a chocolate Kolo Cortina CD album. Check out Kelli's site here. |
