"At the root of all art, I believe there is life. And life encourages art. Everything is a self-portrait. Embrace it." ~ Elise Joy Blaha While on a trip to Kauai, Elise Blaha made this album using Kolo Havana divider tabs. It's one of her favorite albums among the many she's made. Here's what she blogged about it: The covers were Kolo photo box dividers that I punched holes in and joined with book rings. Go here to see more images of this Kolo Havana divider tab album, and here to see Elise's blog post listing the tools she brought with her to Hawaii to make her album while there. This is the second time re-purposed Kolo Havana divider tabs have appeared on Koloist. Remember Patrick Ng's mind.Depositor? elise, where do you get the book rings??
I got the book rings at an office supply store, most carry them right by the paper clips. There are also oodles of options on amazon.com
This is cool. Thanks for posting.
I just made myself a day-planner using Binder Rings. I got them at WalMart. I think 3/4" would be nice, but they only had 1".
I got monthly tabs from Target (by Franklin-Covey), and then cut 8.5" x 11" paper in half and three-hole punched it. I made tabs with colored paper for "to do" and "shop" and other things that pertain to my world.
Hope this helps someone.
Happy creating!
Karen
