I like how these old black-and-whites look in these colorful modern albums.

My father got a new scanner and has been duplicating his sister’s photos. He’s been emailing me a few old photos every day for the past few weeks. I don’t think he’s ever enjoyed the family photos more.

He likes this part of photo organization, but I know he’ll never get the photos into albums…

…So I’ve been printing the photos he emails and putting together Kolo Noci photo albums for him, grouping photographs from the same time period into each album. It’s been so easy -- each Noci holds 24 photos and you just slip 'em in, so the project’s quick.

My father’s getting a Kolo Havana full of these Kolo Noci photo albums for Father’s Day. (Nothing wrong with practical gifts, but I like giving sentimental things.)

It’s been pretty amazing to have email conversations (written records for posterity) with my father about these old photos. As he describes them, it prompts a flood of memories from the past, and all the great stories come out. Gets us talking about good times.
