Table Number Memory Books | |

Why do so many people get hitched in June? There's a reason. Because June is named for Juno, Roman goddess of marriage. People believed she'd bring prosperity and happiness to all who wed in her month. So with a good thought for all you June brides and grooms out there, it's fitting in the Month of Juno to share this project from newlywed and New York designer Elizabeth (Liz) Kuehnen. (Who, by the way, is on her way to grad school at Pratt to study communications design. Congratulations!) But first things first -- she and her beau got hitched: We pulled the wedding together with the idea of a spring wildflower garden. We wanted a lot of texture and color with a whimsical feel. I loved working with the Kolo books, decorating them with stamps, and knowing that we will have these as keepsakes with fun and heartfelt notes from our guests. Her memory books doubled as table numbers, which she made using Kolo Vineyard paper photo albums. Thanks to Liz, and to Brooke Lagstein of Be Creative Photography in New Jersey, for sharing these images. Go to the Be Creative Photography blog to see more about this project. |

pratt institute! - nice!
What did you put on the inside pages?
I too bought a lot of stamps from Ink Pad. Love that little place.
Congrats - it looks like a very lovely wedding. I wish you and your man much happiness in togetherness. And good luck with your study too :).
I looooved these books and how they complimented the beautiful centerpieces was just perfect. It was all natural, window light.
Thanks,
Brooke
