Is Your Dream in the Universal Scrapbook Yet? | |
|
Wednesday 12th Aug 2009 |
What was your strangest dream? Your most beautiful dream? Most frightening? Most memorable? Most elusive? Unleash your creativity and create a photograph, journal page, artwork or photograph of your work that represents a dream of yours (must be 12"x12" or smaller - your piece, not the dream). The "Dream" theme is being interpreted loosely -- your piece could be about your dream as in a wish, desire or goal you have. Send or email your photograph/artwork/journal page to artist Lie Fhung for inclusion in the Universal Scrapbooks project, sponsored by Kolo. Deadline is September 30, 2009. It will go on exhibit internationally as part of Lie Fhung's Dream Archives art installation, beginning November 2009 at SIGIarts Gallery in Jakarta, Indonesia. Be a part of it! For the address and more info go here. This 1944 painting, Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate by Spanish Catalan surrealist Salvador Dalí, is rich with symbolism.
