This Dream Archives Portal #013, along with many other works by artist Lie Fhung, will be on display in her solo exhibition called The Corporeal Dream, Nov. 20 - Dec. 3, 2009 in Jakarta, Indonesia at SIGIarts Gallery. About this particular series, called Dream Archives Portal #013, Memori Obscura, Fhung explains:

If you look closely at the photos inside the boxes, you'll see some differences between the seemingly identical photos on each box. This work tries to illustrate how, in our dreams, we often confuse our memories; people and places are often juxtaposed and interchanged.
