Yosemite in Winter, Frosty Evening Blue by John W Hammond. Tip from John Hammond on photographing sunsets at a river in Yosemite: Photo fishers (like me) stake out this quiet spot on the Merced River in Yosemite to wait for the right moment to catch El Capitan in its sunset glory.
