Opening of "Berlin Through My Lens" Exhibition in Frankfurt | |
|
Thursday 25th Mar 2010 |
The opening evening of the “Berlin Through My Lens” Exhibition in Frankfurt was held last night at Hugendubel, Steinweg 12. All who attended the event were inspired by the various interpretations of Berlin told by Berlin’s creative community. Through their Kolo book, each individual artist shared their unique view of Berlin and the impact the city has had on their life. Ina Reimer, a young artist and illustrator in Frankfurt, demonstrated different artistic techniques throughout the night encouraging visitors to tell their story. Check back later to see her Kolo book. If you're in Frankfurt during the next few weeks, be sure to stop by one of these three locations: Galerie Hake, Leipziger Strabe 35; Hugendubel, Steinweg 12; and Schmidt’s Papeterie & Wohnaccessoirs, Schweizer Straße 67 (from April 3-April 24 due to a new store opening). The exhibition will continue until April 24th. For more information, go here. Stay tuned to view individual artist’s Berlin books. View examples here and here. -Kate |
