Artist and photographer Ophelia Chong recently experimented designing collages in her Kolo Essex Travel Book. You may recall seeing her work on Koloist before; she used Kolo archival paper for the work entitled “Her Love” and a Kolo Newport post-bound album to display her “Slips of Paper” collection. Ophelia on her experience using the Kolo Essex Blank Booklet as her canvas: I usually work from 8 x 10 paper and larger. I love the Essex because it gives me the freedom to just play and not try to complete a larger collage. It is a sketchbook that helps me leap to larger ideas.
